Since 1983, Stereo Design has been San Diego's premier hi-end audio dealer. Over the years, we have expanded our focus to include home theater and custom home installation. We are now celebrating our 28th year in business! We have a 10,000 square foot retail store with nine sound rooms. We will be adding a TENTH soundroom this Fall! In addition, we have a service department to repair equipment we sell.
Feel free to stop by or call ahead for an appointment at (858) 573-0060. We are open Wednesday through Friday 11:00am to 7:00pm, and Saturdays 10:00am to 5:00pm. Tuesdays are open by appointment only. Please call at least four days ahead to make a Tuesday appointment. Just ask for Steve Nielsen (Owner), David Nielsen (Manager), Art LaRose (Technician), or Kent Fuqua. Feel free to bring some CDs, DVDs, SACDs, Blu-Rays, iPods, iPads, or Vinyl with you to listen to. We would be happy to set up a system for you to audition.
