Since 1983, Stereo Design has been San Diego's premier hi-end audio dealer. Over the years, we have expanded our focus to include home theater and custom home installation. We are now celebrating our 24th year in business! We have a 10,000 square foot retail store with nine sound rooms. In addition, we have a service department to repair equipment we sell.
Feel free to stop by or call ahead for an appointment at (858) 573-0060. We are open Wednesday through Friday 11:00am to 7:00pm, and Saturdays 10:00am to 5:00pm. Tuesdays are open by appointment only. Please call at least four days ahead to make a Tuesday appointment. Just ask for Steve Nielsen (Owner), David Nielsen (Manager), Art LaRose (Technician), Steven Martin (Front Counter Guy, not the Comedian!!!), Luis Martinez (Service), or Dave Volz (Installer). Feel free to bring some CDs, DVDs, SACDs, Blu-Rays, DVD-As, or Vinyl with you to listen to. We would be happy to set up a system for you to audition.
